Short Biography
Assit. Prof. Dr. Cemal Yorgancıoğlu is an academic specializing in International Relations, nationalism studies, and Cyprus politics. He earned his BA in International Relations from Eastern Mediterranean University and completed his MA and PhD in Political Science and International Relations at Near East University. His doctoral research provides a critical analysis of nationalisms in Cyprus within their international context.
His research interests focus on theories of nationalism, colonial and post-colonial discourse, Cyprus studies, and international politics. He has published extensively in national and international peer-reviewed journals, including SSCI- and SCIE-indexed outlets, and has contributed to several academic books and edited volumes.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Yorgancıoğlu teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in political science and international relations and serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals. He is currently a faculty member in the Department of International Relations at Cyprus Aydın University.
