Instructor ASENA AKTAŞ

Asena Aktaş completed her associate degree at Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University in the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program. She earned her bachelor's degree in Nursing at Girne American University and subsequently obtained a master's degree in Internal Medicine (Medical-Surgical) Nursing from the same university. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in the Internal Medicine Nursing program at Cyprus Aydın University.

Aktaş began her professional career as a clinical nurse in 2020 and worked as an emergency nurse at Nizip Private ADN Hospital and Varış Medical Center between 2020 and 2024.

As of September 2024, she started her academic career as a full-time research assistant at Cyprus Aydın University. In September 2025, she was appointed as a Lecturer and continues her academic work at the same university.

Her academic interests include Internal Medicine (Medical-Surgical) Nursing and oncology nursing, as well as chronic disease management, patient care, and health sciences. She continues to conduct research in these fields.
