Short Biography
Nisa Aliş is an academic who conducts research in the field of psychology. She completed her undergraduate degree in the Department of Psychology (English) at Girne American University. She finished her postgraduate education in Counseling Psychology at Girne American University and later pursued a master's degree in the Clinical Psychology program at Cyprus Science University. She is currently continuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Istanbul Aydın University Institute of Graduate Studies.
Throughout her academic career, she has worked as a lecturer at Girne American University, Girne University, and International Final University, teaching undergraduate courses in various faculties. She also serves as the Director of the Counseling Center at Cyprus Aydın University. She continues her academic work as a lecturer in the field of psychology.
Her research interests include clinical psychology, psychoanalysis, psychodynamic approaches, body image, social media and mental health, burnout, romantic relationship satisfaction, and compassion. She has presented papers at national and international academic conferences and has published scientific articles in these areas.
