Short Biography
She graduated from Hacettepe University School of Nursing in 1996. She received her specialist degree in Public Health Nursing from Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences in 2003. She obtained her doctorate from Marmara University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Public Health Nursing in 2012 and became an assistant professor in the same year. Her professional life includes working as a nurse and head nurse in various units of state and private hospitals. She worked as a lecturer at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University (2001-2008), as a research assistant at Marmara University (2008-2012), and started working as an assistant professor at Kırıkkale University in 2012. She received the title of associate professor in 2019. She worked as an associate professor at the University of Health Sciences from 2022 until her retirement in 2023. She started working at Cyprus Science/Aydın University in 2023 and received the title of professor in 2024. At Cyprus Science/Aydın University, she served as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Head of the Nursing Departments (both Turkish and English), and currently continues her duties as the Director of the Vocational School of Health Services. She has published articles in various international and national journals, and has contributed chapters to books and conferences. She has been a panelist and given lectures at many congresses.
