SİNA KISACIK (PH.D.) CURRENT CURRICULUM VITAE (CV) 

Sina Kısacık is an Assistant Professor Doctor at the Department of International Relations under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Cyprus Aydın University, located at Ozanköy-Girne (Kyrenia)-Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) since October 2021. Before that, he was a lecturer in the energy law module within the Public Law MA Programme (with thesis) at the Social Sciences Institute of Özyeğin University, İstanbul, Türkiye between January 2020 and June 2021. Before teaching at Özyeğin University, he taught “Current Issues in International Relations” course at Political Science and International Relations Department of the Social Sciences Institute at İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University between September 2019 and January 2020. He also worked as an assistant professor at the Political Science and International Relations Department of İstanbul Gelişim University between February 2019 and July 2019. Here, he taught courses on scientific research methods (in Turkish and English), public administration and Türkiye and Balkans. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations Department from Yeditepe University, İstanbul, Türkiye in July 2017 by the dissertation titled “The Ukraine Policy of the Russian Federation and The Paradigms in European Energy Security.” He got his MA degree in European ___Union___ studies from Galatasaray University and BA on international relations from Bilgi University, İstanbul, Türkiye He has co-authored six books and has authored/co-authored several book chapters and papers in various national and international academic journals in English and in Turkish. His research interests include: energy geopolitics and security, Turkish foreign policy, Russian foreign policy, Caucasia, Central Asia, Eurasia and European _Union_. He is a columnist at Uluslararası Politika Akademisi and also with the editorial board and academic advisory board of peer-reviewed UPA Strategic Affairs and some other academic journals.
