Prof. Dr. Mehmet zeki avcı
1979 istanbul üniversitesi cerrahpaşa tip fakültesinden tip doktoru olarak mezun olmuştur.
İhtisasini kadin hastaliklari ve doğum uzmani olarak tamamlamiştir.
Akademik çalişmalarini sürdürerek alaninda profesör ünvani alarak akademik kariyerine devam etmektedir.
Bilimsel çalişmalara kadin hastaliklari, cinsel yaşam, halk sağliği, sağlikli yaşam, patofizyoloji üzerine yoğunlaşmaktadir.
Prof. Dr. Mehmet zeki avci halen kibris aydin üniversitesi hemşirelik bölümünde öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmakta olup ayni zamanda sağlik bilimleri fakültesi dekanlik görevini yürütmektedir.
Akademik yaşami süresince çeşitli yüksek öğretim kurumlarinda akademik ve idari sorumluluklar yüklenmiştir.
Lisans düzeyinde kadin hastaliklari hemşireliği, cinsel sağlik, halk sağliği, patofizyoloji derslerini türkçe ve ingilizce olarak vermektedir.
