Short Biography
Shahrzad Safaeimanesh holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Eastern Mediterranean University in Northern Cyprus. She is currently a faculty member and serves as the head of the Banking and Finance Department for both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs at Cyprus Aydin University. In addition, she is an editorial board member of The European Journal of Tourism & Hospitality Management (EJTHM), a review editor for the Journal of Frontiers in Sustainable Cities, and a Reviewer for the Environment, Development and Sustainability Journal. Dr. Shahrzad is also an honorary member of the International Sustainable Aviation and Energy Research Society (SARES). She has supervised many master’s theses and graduate projects. Her research contributions include articles published in SSCI-indexed and international peer-reviewed journals, along with book chapters and edited volumes. Her research interests include International Trade, Tourism Economics, Public Economics, Environmental economics and Sustainable Economic Development.
